A First in South Africa

Ansie Litkie has made history. She is the first ICPKP student in South Africa to graduate and to earn an ICPKP International Diploma in Kinesiology
Ansie worked very hard for over four years to assimilate all the information and knowledge that the ICPKP diploma has to offer. She completed her assessments, assignments and web tests diligently and meticulously and pushed herself, her class mates and her instructor.Well done for being the first ever student in South Africa to attain your diploma!

We Mourn the Loss of S.A Kinesiology Practitioner and Teacher, Harold Bliss
On January 7th 2008, ICPKP Faculty member Harold Bliss passed away suddenly at around midday. His untimely passing comes as a shock to us all and all at the Specialised Kinesiology College extend our condolences to Anne, and family, friends and students of Harold.
Dr Bruce & Joan Dewe in S.A in February 2007
Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe were in Johannesburg teaching their new K-power workshops. There was a fantastic response to their courses with 22 people attending a jam packed intense five days covering 13 new workshops. The K-power series, designed to allow you, the Kinesiologist, to teach simple life changing techniques included workshops on stress, behavioural genetics, co-dependency, Tibetan energy, flower essences the basics of 5 elements and muscle and joint protocols.
Bruce enthralled the participants with his passion and stories while Joan’s clear, straightforward and step by step teaching made learning all the new information effortless even in the heat wave.
Saturday and Sunday was spent covering the information from “Red Flags to Treatment”, one of the workshops required for the ICPKP diploma course. The 31 participants learned valuable information about when to refer a client and what to be aware of when presented with different symptoms by a client.
While we were sorry that the week had come to an end and we needed to say goodbye to “old” and “new” friends we were enriched with fresh enthusiasm to spread K-power far and wide and to apply our new information.
Our grateful thanks to Bruce and Joan for their passion, enthusiasm and generosity in sharing their immense knowledge with all of us and giving so much of themselves in the process.

SKCSA Year End Function
The Specialised Kinesiology College of South Africa recently held their end of year function for 2006
A time of reflection on the past year and all the elements that make up our universe were integrated in a symbolic way during a Despacho ceremony conducted by an Inca Priestess. Then it was on to an evening of true celebration with the Drum Cafe in a conducted drumming circle. Fun was had by all!! What a way to bring the year of dedicated study to a close.
