We also offer Kinesiology Courses for use with horses and dogs and host visiting lecturers from South Africa as well as internationally when possible. PRINCIPAL – MARGIE DONDE
Margie Donde is a skilled Specialised Kinesiology practitioner and instructor. After attending the Touch for Health training and conference and at the University of San Diego in 1990, Margie has spent the past 18 years following her passion in the holistic health field. As a full-time Specialised Kinesiology facilitator and instructor she has a particular interest in helping others to come to self-awareness and self-understanding through changing unresourceful emotional and behavioural patterns.
Self driven and with a practical organisational capacity, she has used her ability to focus, and her “just do it” attitude, to create one of the largest Specialised Kinesiology Teaching schools in South Africa. She is qualified to teach some of the Educating Alternatives workshop, the full Touch for Health programme as well as the Basic Kinesiology Program (Bkp) Series and the full 4-year ICPKP diploma course. She has a played a key leadership role in the Kinesiology Association of South Africa.
An accredited riding instructor, and successful dressage competitor her longstanding love for horses has led her to seek ways of creating co-operation and understanding with the horse by using the clicker training method. She is also pioneering the use of kinesiology techniques and exploring natural feeding methods for horses in South Africa. At the moment Margie is involved in setting up workshops for corporate companies using horses as a leadership tool for positive re-enforcement.
Her interests include issues around climate change and she is studying methods of setting up sustainable development housing estates using natural sustainable methods of building, gardening, water and energy use. She is the chairperson of the Greater Kyalami Conservancy and works on the Ward Committee for ward 93 under the social welfare portfolio.
